The Los Paseos Home & School Club (LPHSC) is a parent-teacher organization whose goal is to promote a strong relationship between home and school and to assist in the school’s efforts to make the year rewarding for all our children.
Los Paseos, like most California schools, has a limited budget. Our primary goal for each school year is to raise sufficient funds to cover the cost of assemblies, field trips, library books, subscriptions, classroom supplies, and the Books and Beyond program. We use any money above and beyond that to provide capital funding for larger projects like computers, electronics and upgrades to facilities. These projects enrich the experience of each student and thus the whole Los Paseos community.
Over the years LPHSC fundraising has provided thousands of dollars to support and enhance school activities. The LPHSC could not have done this without the enthusiasm and contributions from all families either by fundraising efforts or donations of time and money. We are very grateful for all of your help!
All parents are members of the Home & School Club. The LPHSC meets once a month with meetings dates and times announced in the website school calendar, newsletters, and email notifications. Meetings, membership, and positions on the board are open to all parents and teachers. Please check the newsletter or the bulletin board for more information.
The LPHSC is fun for those who participate and provides an important service to the school at the same time. The Home School Board and staff hope you will be an active member of the LPHSC.
